The Norwegian lion symbol is distinctive, and often appears on Norwegian coins, etc. It is also the national emblem of modern Norway.
Norske Love means "Norwegian Lion," and one battleship in the Danish-Norwegian fleet was traditionally named Norske Love until Hohlenberg's Norge, the first battleship after Krabbe's Norske Love to end this tradition on behalf of the Norwegian part of the dual Denmark-Norway monarchy.
The upright lion carries a distinctive ax with a curved staff, and was probably the theme of the figurehead for Krabbe's Norske Love, and probably all of the Danish battleships named Norske Love which predated Krabbe's.

But one way or the other, for $10 you could own a marvellous piece of ancient european history.
